New game
Scoring in a nutshell
- Made the bid? Score every point you took.
- Missed it? Your bid comes off your score. You can go below zero.
- First to 21 wins. If both teams get there on the same hand, the bidders win if they made it.

What's new
1.2 Oct 18, 2026 Table sounds, recorded from real cards: cards slid onto the table and dealt out, a poker chip for each bid, tricks pushed into a pile, dice for a poke or a moon, and the deck coming out of its box for a new game, plus a chime when it's your turn and a jingle at the end of the hand (tap the speaker on the table to turn them off). New house rule, on by default: the bidder's first lead has to be trump. During a trick, a ring in the team's color and a line under the cards show who has it caught. With the widow in hand, every card shows its number and suit in the corner so overlapping cards are easy to read. 8-point Widow now deals 6 cards to the widow by default, like our table. Auto-play: tap it and the computer bids and plays for you until you turn it off (if everyone's on it, the hands deal themselves). At a family table the next hand waits until everyone's ready, so nobody gets rushed past the score. Mark a hand Self-poked or Rotten widow right from the end-of-hand summary. Smarter computer players: they lead the ace of trump, bid more carefully, and Hint tells you why it picked a bid. Taps on iPhones and iPads count every time, and a phone whose connection went quiet catches up by itself. The Game count never gets cut off in the score boxes. Fits better on small phones and with larger text. Family tables connect straight to the card server, so moves show up on everyone's phone right away (with a fallback for networks that block it), and a phone in your pocket picks right back up when you open it. The card server is watched around the clock. The Rules page now spells out our table's rules: no stealing the bid, follow suit or trump, Low stays with whoever played it, trump stays when you throw away, and extra trump goes face up.
1.1 Oct 17, 2026 Play the computer! Start a New game, pick Play the computer, and you and a computer partner take on two computer players at a real card table: bid, pick up the widow, name trump, throw away and draw, and play every trick, with a Hint button any time. Everyone else's cards stay face down, your partner's too. The computer players think ahead (or pick Easy), a running score shows each team's points and Game count as tricks fall, and the end of each hand shows the trump left in the deck. 8-point Widow bids now start at 4, and every game type lets you set the lowest bid and the stuck bid. Also now Pitch Night (first called Widow Pitch, then Pitch Score Keeper), with Friends & family tables: start one, share its code, and everyone plays from their own phone, for more than Widow Pitch: pick 8-point Widow, 10-point, 5-point, 4-point or your own custom points, bids and stuck bid, and the Rules page follows the type you pick. New hand tracker: tap cards into each team as tricks are taken and it works out High, Low, Jack, Off-jack, jokers, Ten, Three and Game for you. Put in all four players and it tracks whose deal it is (with Draw for it to pick the first dealer), shoot the moon as a house rule, Bragging rights awards and a leaderboard across all your games, and nicer pop-ups. House rules for how many cards each player and the widow get, and dealing three or one at a time. A quick Game counter, bid stats for each team, a clearer 4-step way to score a hand, new hand-drawn icons, and a family-friendly name for the third mark: Rotten widow.
